Eligibility & requirements
Saudi Arabia considers both degree and diploma-qualified Registered Nurses, though eligibility criteria are employer-specific and nationality plays a significant role in placement.
- Qualification: Bachelor's Degree in Nursing preferred. Select diploma holders considered — primarily South African and European trained.
- Registration: Current active registration in home country required
- English: Fluency required. No IELTS test — assessed informally at interview
- Experience: Minimum 2 years post-qualification for most roles
- Nationality: Open to most nationalities with some employer-specific restrictions. Most preferred: Western Europe, Eastern Europe, North and South America, South Africa, and select African nationalities (Kenya, Zambia, Zimbabwe, Ghana, Tunisia, Morocco)
- Gender: Both male and female Registered Nurses placed. Female candidates have preference with most employers.
Diploma Registered Nurses: Limited eligibility. South African and European diploma holders can be considered for specialist pathways. Asian-trained diploma Registered Nurses are outside our current placement market for Saudi Arabia.
