Three licensing authorities — one decision
Physician licensing in the UAE is managed by DHA (Dubai), DOH (Abu Dhabi), or MOHAP (other Emirates). The authority is determined by where you will be employed, not your specialty. Each has its own DataFlow requirements, eligibility criteria, and — for some specialties — a licensing examination. Prodesse assesses which authority applies to your role and manages the application on your behalf.
Salary figures reflect our typical placement range by grade. Specialist and Consultant grades require a recognised Western board qualification (MRCP, FRCS, FRCOG, or equivalent). Your Prodesse consultant will provide a specific package assessment based on your profile.

Initiated immediately on offer acceptance. Covers your primary medical degree, postgraduate qualifications, and registration history. This is the longest step — starting early is critical.
6 weeksDHA / DOH / MOHAP licensing
Prodesse manages your licensing application with the relevant authority. Some specialties require a licensing exam — we advise and prepare you in advance. Runs in parallel with DataFlow where possible.
2–4 weeksVisa & deployment
Employment visa arranged by your sponsor employer. Prodesse provides a full pre-departure briefing and a 30-day post-arrival check-in.
