National Guard Health Affairs (NGHA) is recruiting an Assistant Nurse Manager for the General ICU and Medical ICU at King Abdulaziz Medical City (KAMC), Riyadh. This is a senior clinical leadership role responsible for day-to-day unit operations alongside continued hands-on clinical practice.
Key responsibilities
- Manages day-to-day operations of the General ICU and Medical ICU, maintaining a high clinical presence on the unit
- Deputises for the Nurse Manager and oversees unit staff and activities in their absence
- Mentors nursing, medical, and paramedical students, interns, and residents
- Leads quality improvement, staff development, and safety and compliance initiatives
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing from an accredited institution
- Current Registered Nurse licensure in country of training
- SCFHS registration (Prodesse Health supports the full application process)
- Relevant critical care certification for area of assignment
- Minimum 6 years’ post-licensure clinical nursing experience, including at least 3 years in a management or supervisory role within critical care
- English Language proficiency essential; Arabic preferred
- Computer literacy essential
