A leading armed forces hospital in Saudi Arabia is recruiting an experienced Consultant in Hepatobiliary Surgery. This is a senior specialist position within a well-resourced surgical department offering comprehensive HPB services.
Role overview
- Provide specialist consultant-level hepatobiliary surgical care, including complex elective and emergency HPB procedures
- Lead and develop the Hepatobiliary Surgery service within the Department of Surgery
- Contribute to multidisciplinary team discussions, clinical governance, and quality improvement initiatives
- Supervise and mentor junior surgical staff and residents
Requirements
- Relevant specialist qualification in General Surgery or Hepatobiliary Surgery
- Board certification — Western and non-Western board-certified candidates are both welcome to apply
- Significant post-fellowship experience in hepatobiliary surgery

Package
SAR 40,250–51,750/mo — exact rate depending on profile and board certification. Family status, 1-year renewable contract. Accommodation and transport provided by the employer. Return flights included per contract cycle.
