National Guard Health Affairs (NGHA) is recruiting an experienced Medical Technologist (Grade I) for its laboratory services in Saudi Arabia. This is a senior laboratory role with team lead responsibilities, suited to a skilled clinical laboratory scientist with cytotechnology experience working within a major academic hospital group.
Key responsibilities
- Performs routine to highly complex laboratory procedures across manual and automated platforms
- Manages quality control programmes, equipment calibration, and troubleshooting to maintain analytical accuracy
- Acts as team lead, providing guidance and support to laboratory team members
- Participates in continuing education activities and supports departmental training initiatives
- Works in accordance with JCIA, CBAHI, CAP, and AABB standards
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Clinical Laboratory Sciences or a related discipline from an accredited institution
- Minimum 3 years’ position-related laboratory experience, including cytotechnology experience
- English Language proficiency essential; Arabic an advantage
- Computer proficiency essential
