A well-established healthcare facility in Bahrain is seeking an experienced Senior Midwife to join its Delivery Suite team. This is a full-time clinical role with leadership responsibilities, suited to a confident midwife with a strong background in high-risk obstetrics and a track record of supporting junior colleagues.
Responsibilities
- Full-time practice based in the Delivery Suite, providing antenatal, intrapartum, and postnatal care
- Manages both high-risk and low-risk pregnancies with clinical independence and sound judgement
- Leads and supports junior midwives, contributing to a positive and well-functioning team environment
- CTG monitoring, active management of labour, and neonatal resuscitation as required
- Collaborates effectively within a multidisciplinary team including obstetricians, neonatologists, and theatre staff
Requirements
- BSc Honours Degree in Midwifery
- Licensed midwife in country of origin with current registration
- Minimum 8 years’ post-graduate midwifery experience
- Current experience in a hospital delivery suite setting
- Strong clinical skillset and demonstrated leadership qualities
